The Lime Crane Video Production Solution
Ideation
During this initial phase, we’ll help you determine the scope of your project and your goals for the video and we’ll also establish a budget and timelines for shooting and post-production.
Pre-Production
The best videos take shape long before the cameras start rolling. In pre-production, we help you write scripts and interview questions, plan shots, and map out every element of your video. Additionally, we secure filming locations and nail down a schedule for a smooth production. A solid pre-production plan supports an efficient and timely filming and post-production process.
Principal Photography
We travel to your headquarters, your plant, or a shooting location with our equipment and personnel. We work with onsite contacts, set up all sound and lighting equipment, and capture all the interviews and footage for your video or documentary. Our Creative Director takes charge of the artistic and dramatic aspects of the project in this phase, working closely with the technical crew to realize the plan set down in pre-production.

Can you really help me make good-looking videos on a laptop even if I don’t have any fancy equipment?
We use remote recording technology to capture interviews with excellent lighting, sound, and even a remote teleprompter. These videos won’t look nearly as good as they would if they were filmed with an expensive camera and sound equipment, of course, but for many applications, you don’t need anything better. Sometimes getting it done soon is more important than getting it done perfectly. And our remotely-produced videos are still far superior to what you could expect otherwise. If you’re not sure if these videos would suit your needs, it won’t cost you anything to find out. Schedule a free consultation with Lime Crane today to find out.
What’s the point of having a Corporate Documentary?
A well-made corporate documentary not only preserves history, but inspires the future. Capturing the legacy of a family business will articulate to the next generation who they are and where they came from, meaningfully affecting the trajectory of a business. Here at Lime Crane, we are storytellers. Our experienced corporate legacy documentary team has the ability to capture and preserve your family history, culture, and multi-generational commitment through your own voice. Because if you don’t tell your story, who will?
Can you film on a sound stage, studio space, or with a green screen?
How does the post-production editing and review process work?
After Lime Crane has shot and cut an initial version of your video, we send you a rough cut for you and your team to review. We use a special annotation and commenting software that minimizes back and forth and maximizes specific feedback, so we can all spend more time making progress on your final video. We know how frustrating it can be to communicate what you’re looking for. At Lime Crane, we make it look easy.

Do you have any services available better than remote recording but less expensive (and time-consuming) than a professional shoot?
We do! For just this purpose, our Lime Crane professionals put together a lighting and recording kit that will greatly improve your video quality for webcasting without breaking the bank. You can check out our kit here.
